Our mission

To make the things we all use a little better — by turning everyday frustration into constructive ideas that people can see, support and act on.

The problem we care about

Everyone has ideas for how things could work better — the app setting that should exist, the form that could be simpler, the appointment line that shouldn't require ringing at 8am. But those ideas rarely go anywhere. Star ratings flatten them into a number. Complaint forms send them into a void. Social media turns them into noise. The insight is real; the route for it isn't.

What we're building

Help Improve is a public, good-faith suggestion box for everything — phones and supermarkets, GP surgeries and gaming consoles, councils and coffee shops. Ideas are written constructively, filed where they can be found, and voted on by the community, so the most-wanted improvements rise to the top instead of getting lost. AI lends a hand with wording and filing; people provide the ideas and the judgement.

What we believe

  • Constructive beats critical. "Here's how it could be better" achieves more than "this is terrible" — and it's more pleasant to read, too.
  • The crowd knows. One person's niggle is easy to dismiss; a thousand votes behind the same idea is a signal no organisation should ignore.
  • Everything can improve. Products, services, apps, public institutions — nothing we use every day is finished, and suggesting improvements is an act of care, not criticism.

Where we're headed

Today we're a young community gathering ideas and votes. The goal is for the most-supported ideas to reach the organisations that can act on them — openly, so everyone can see what was suggested, how many people backed it, and what happened next.
